Ubuntu, daar krijg ik ook de kribels van. Doe mij maar Gentoo, mag je alles lekker zelf weten.
En over de Vista drivers: je moet in veel gevallen goed zoeken, net als bij Unix. Ik kwam laatst op een vage franse site een driver voor m'n TV-kaart tegen die niet op de homepage van de fabrikant zelf staat. Nadeel is wel dat Vista eigenwijs is en soms gewoon z'n eigen drivers installeert.
Ik gebruik Vista alleen voor games, die ga ik niet onder Wine ofzo draaien, want dat werkt niet.

Microsoft is met Wista (sorry, ik vind grappig om te doen alsof het een Russisch woord is ofzo ) wel op meer fronten raar bezig:
